Based around the chocolate trade, this game offers teachers the chance to explore interdependence, trade and development through a familiar commodity. Players can discover for themselves the influence our purchasing power has on the lives of cocoa producers world-wide. Pupils take on the role of families in Ghana, Brazil and the UK who are involved with the production of chocolate. As the game proceeds events affect the lives of families in different ways emphasising the rich/poor divide as well as the North/South divide.
